Homemade Muesli

Always better to make your own muesli so you can control what goes into it. Most supermarket versions have sugar added as a sweetener.


1/2 cup rolled organic porridge oats
3 Strawberries
1/2 handful of raisins
1/2 handful of Wholefood Almonds and Hazlenuts


Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and add skimmed milk to taste.

 What's good about this meal

- You can eat this muesli safe in the knowledge you know exactly what is in it unlike most supermarket versions that contain wheat, sugar and sweeteners
- The nuts are a great source of protein - helping you restore muscle damage and staying full for longer.
- Raisins are a reasonable source of dietary fibre though don't eat too many as they are high in fructose
